PUBLIC RELATIONS/COMMUNICATIONS CREDIT-BEARING INTERNSHIP
The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) owns and operates the Buffalo and Niagara Falls Airports, the Metro Bus and Rail System, and the Transit Police and Airport Fire Departments. The public relations and communications internship provides students with opportunities to work on campaign development, communication strategies, special events, social media, newsletter/blogs, as well as marketing research. Qualified candidates will receive valuable hands-on, project-based learning in this internship.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and actively pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related business field. They must also be in good academic standing with the college. Candidates must be able to obtain college credit for the internship and work an average of 14-16 hours per week. Interviews are required to qualify.
